The Youngstown branch of the  Butler Museum of American Art has partnered up with Taft's fourth grade class. Every month docents visit Taft and teach the students about different types of paintings and sculptures. Twice a year, the students take a field trip and visit the Butler for tours of art and education about the artists and techniques used.
