Paul McConnell

I started singing at the age of 4 and performed in the Middlefield Boy's Choir. I have performed in some major cities east of the Mississippi as a soloist and have sung with the Canton Symphony and Youngstown Symphony. My choirs have performed with the Cleveland Symphony Chorus and have scored high in state competitions. I continue to perform and write music with a Contemporary Christian group called IHS as a keyboard player and vocalist. I am married and have four smart beautiful daughters, which are destined to do greater things than I.

Do you, the parent/guardian have a musical talent or play an instrument? Please contact me, I might be able to use your abilities.

I am the 2018-2019 7th and 8th Grade Math teacher. I will also be teaching several sections of Rosetta Stone Spanish.

We are working to encourage students to grow in character. There are 24 character strengths that we will be working with throughout the school year. On occasion, parents may be asked to participate in activities with their child. Please join us. We can accomplish more in community than in isolation. I look forward to working with students and parents in making this an outstanding year!

Jane Haggerty

My name is Jane Haggerty. I have been teaching in the Youngstown school district since 2001. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA (which of course makes me a die hard STEELERS FAN!) and spent my childhood in West Virginia. I attended Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, OH and moved to Youngstown in 1996 when I got married. My husband, Shawn, and daughter, Emily are the most important people in my life. He is an electrician and she is a student at Edinboro University. We have four dogs, Trouble, Bolt, Bandit and Mochi.
